Adventure is a very promising school. First, there are many expectations for the students, such as finishing your work on time and always keeping steady grades. Since Adventure shares campuses with Herman, we do get a restricted campus, but are allowed to go over there once at the proper age. Because of this, we are able to get more space, going to Adventure, but also being able to corss to Herman. Also, since you always stick with the same classmates, you get to get to know everyone better than just being stuck to working with them for a little, and saying goodbye.
At Adventure, people use computers and other technology to read, write, and sometimes, even play. During projects, which occur very often, we have to use computers for research and executing the project itself. Using them for essays and reports are another way to use them, along with going on educational websites such as "Learn Zillion" and "Khan Academy". Also, sometimes, teachers allow us to play educational games.
The school moto is RRS, meaning: Respectful, Responsible, and safe. To be safe, the school has set up a no touch policy. Students must adhere to the golden rule: treat others how you want to be treated. This allows students to be respectful to each other. Also, if you don't bring your work everyday, then you won't be responsible, leading to a consequence. This allows kids to adapt, and having a habbit of bringing their work to school.
Like I said in the begining, in Adventure, we have a smaller campus, and less people. Some people might think of this as confined, but I think that it provides more space. People are forgetting the fact that 5th and 6th graders are elementary. Once they are in 7th grade, they will be able to acess the Middle school campus. Although we do only have a limited amount of people, we are more like a family, since we see each other all the time, unlike the regular middle schoolers, who have different people in different periods.
I think that the school Adventure is very complex, but also very promising, like I said in the begining. It allows the people to collaborate with other people, since there aren't as many students to get to know. Also, it allows people to learn to use computers correctly and effectively. In conclusion, I think that Adventure is a great school.
