In engineering, we had a project where we built a shelter for 10,000,000 people living in "Alabraska". We had to plot our shelter which was 4 squares on the map, on F-17; F-18; G-17; G-18. We also needed to plot out the area of space needed per person and for other necessities such as bathrooms, eating, sleeping, closets, food and water storage, and playing areas. We plotted the spaces for these necessities and made a cavern out of cardboard based on the floor plan. Lastly, we tested the cavern's saftey level by putting it in a box of sand, which imitated it being underground and having a bowling ball fall on top, like an asteriod.
