       In our English class, taught by Jerimiah Podczasy, we had a unit on poems. For our end project, we wrote a poem where we included our previous teachings, such as rythm, rhyme and repetition. My partner, Samuel Mata, and I worked to show our poetic expertise in a way that both of us agreed on; a poem on video games. We got a full score on our word choice and "sound devices", which were assonance, consonance, alliteration, and onomatopoeia, to enhance the tone of our poem. After writing, we had to present the poem in front of the class, which furthered not only our confidence, but our presentation skills as well.
